Lindy Hop is an African American, energetic, creative and rhythmic partner dance from the Swing era. Originating in Harlem, New York, the dance took 1930s jazz- and swing-crazy America by storm. Since the 1990s, the dance has conquered the globe as part of a Swing and Lindy revival.
Everyone is welcome in the Lindy Hop scene. Regular partner changes are the norm when learning and dancing.
